A Laurel man was arrested on a felony DWI charge last night after a traffic stop in Mattituck, Southold Town Police said in a press release.
Manuel A. Lazaro, 35, was stopped for a traffic violation on Old Sound Avenue just before 10 p.m., police said. The officer determined Lazaro to be intoxicated, according to the report. He was charged with aggravated DWI and his vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI conviction, police said. He was taken to police headquarters where he was processed and held overnight for arraignment, according to the release.
