Two men were arrested on felony criminal mischief and attempted burglary charges after they threw a rock through the window of a home in Southold Saturday night, according to Southold Town Police.
A neighbor witnessed the men throw the rock through a window at a Soundview Avenue home at about 7:40 p.m., police said. When the neighbor confronted them, the pair ran away and the witness called police, according to the report.
Responding officers located Victor Perez, 24, and Skye McHugh, 19, both of Southold, near the scene of the incident, police said in a press release. Both were arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and attempted burglary in the second degree, according to the police report.
