The East End Seaport Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with the 28th annual Maritime Festival in Greenport, which will be held on September 23 and 24.
This year’s festival will feature new activities along with traditional ones and organizers are hoping to recruit local volunteers to help make the event the best one ever.
The committee is asking anyone who is interested in helping to come to an organizational meeting at the Seaport Museum on Wednesday, August 30 at 5 p.m. for information along with some cheese, wine and first dibs on signing up.
