The East End Seaport Museum and Marine Foundation is offering local talent a way to get some exposure at this year’s Maritime Festival. The festival organizers are looking for local talents to take part in a new special attraction planned for the event.
This year the festival will feature an “events tent” where every hour on the hour different programs will be presented. Festival organizers are looking for singers, poets, musicians, artisans, writers and entertainers of all kinds to take part in the lineup. Or, if you can demonstrate a unique craft or present a talk on a unique nautical topic, the festival coordinators want you.
The popular annual event takes place in Greenport on September 23 and 24 this year.
