Dorothy C. Esseks of Aquebogue died Sept. 7, 2017 at Stony Brook University Hospital. She was 82 years old.
Born in Palisades, New Jersey on Oct. 7, 1934, she was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Beans) Clark.
She was a kindergarten teacher in Riverhead schools.
She is survived by her husband William, her sons, James and David, her daughter Katherine and her grandchildren, Will and Eloise.
There will be a graveside service at Aquebogue Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m.
Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home is assisting the family.
