Janeth S. Wanzor of Southold died Sept. 9, 2017 at San Simeon by the Sound. She was 93 years old.
She was born Dec. 27, 1923 in Queens to Clarence and Augusta Stewart.
She attended Pratt Institute, Columbia University and Adelphi University. She worked as a dietician for Port Washington Public Schools. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and sailing.
Predeceased by her husband of 56 years Aubrey in 2002, she is survived by her son Scott of Georgia, her daughters Kim Unbach of South Carolina and Jill Blum of Peconic, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her cremains will be interred at a later date at Calverton National Cemetery.
