Meet the candidates for town board and town trustee in this year’s local election at a forum Oct. 14 in Orient.
The forum, cosponsored by the East Marion Community Association and the Orient Association, is free and open to the public.
It will take place at Poquatuck Hall, 1160 Skippers Lane in Orient. The doors will open at 9:30 a.m. for socializing and snacks. The forum will start at 10 a.m. sharp.
The hosts are seeking questions from the community to pose to the candidates at the forum.
Questions can be emailed to the organizers. Make sure to include if you want your question asked to a particular candidate. The organizers said they will do their best to make sure all questions are included.
All questions are due by Friday, Oct. 6.
