The popular Greenport Farmers Market, which is open from June to September in Greenport Village, announced that they are extending their season with a Fall Harvest Market.

The fall market will be held on Saturdays from Oct. 7 to Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Moores Lane in Greenport, near the water tower.

The market, which was established in 2011, sells fresh produce, jams, flowers and other locally sourced goods. Organizers said that many of the same vendors from the summer will participate in the fall market, with the possibility of new vendors being added.
