Lorraine A. Hoey of Greenport died Oct. 12, 2017 at Eastern Long Island Hospital. She was 82 years old.
She was born in Brooklyn on Aug. 17, 1935 to Robert and Loretta Hoey.
She worked on Plum Island as a secretary. She was a parishioner at St. Agnes in Greenport. In her spare time, she enjoyed birds and was an animal lover.
She is survived by her brother Richard Hoey of Massapequa and many nieces and nephews.
