Shakespeare’s drama Richard III brings court life of 15th century England vividly to the stage as he tells the tale of how Richard of Gloucester, the youngest brother of the new king, dreams of one day ruling himself. His mind warped by his own physical deformities, Richard plots to seize power, destroying everyone who stands between him and the throne.

East End Mobile Theatre’s troupe, directed by Colin Palmer of Aquebogue, will present several performances of the show on the North Fork beginning Oct. 25 and running through Nov. 4 at various venues.

The cast features Ben Eager, Tim Ferris, Justin Harris, Colin Palmer, Joey Podlas, Christine Richard, Cody Saunders, Sarah Storjohann, John Tramontana, and Dan Yaiullo.

The troupe takes the stage Oct. 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Greenport. On Oct. 28 (7 p.m.) and 29 (2 p.m.) the production moves on to Poquatuck Hall in Orient. East End Mobile Theatre finishes up its performances at the Jamesport Meeting House on Nov. 2, 3 and 4. The performances at the Meeting House all begin at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online.
