Stanley J. Harris of Greenport died on October 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was 94 years old.
Survived by his beloved wife Jeanne M. Harris (Webb) and his loving children Keith (Kathy), Maryellen Gaylord and Peter (June) and cherished five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother Barney Harris.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18 between the hours of 5 and 9 p.m. at the Horton-Mathie Funeral Home in Greenport. A 7:30 p.m. funeral service will take place at the funeral home by Father Richard Hoerning. Burial will be private.
The family has suggested that memorial donations be made to the Phenix Hook & Ladder Co. 1 and Relief Hose Co. 2, Fourth of July Fireworks Fund, PO Box 58, Greenport, NY 11944 or East End Hospice, PO Box 1048, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978.
