The Sterling Historical Society is hosting a benefit dinner Nov. 1 from noon to 8 p.m. at the historic Townsend Manor Inn in Greenport.
Dinner will include salad, entree, dessert and coffee or tea. There is a choice of flounder or sauerbraten for the entree.
Tickets are $25 per diner. Funds raised will benefit the historical society.
