Joseph V. Schreiber of Riverhead died Nov. 1, 2017 at the Acadia Center. He was 95 years old.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1922 in Hicksville to Valentine and Elizabeth Schreiber. He worked for Hallock Sod Farm and Half Hollow Nursery. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking.
Predeceased by his wife Frances in 2013, he is survived by his son David and one grandchild.
