Photos: Annual turkey trot draws huge crowd to Mattituck

Mattituck-Cutchogue Teacher’s Association held their 12th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot this morning, raising money for Helping Hands for Morgan, St. Jude’s Research Hospital and the MCTA senior scholarship fund.

Over 1,000 people turned out for the 5K run/walk. Corey Zlatniski, 23, of Mattituck came in first with a time of 17:17. Erin Melly, 21, of Oaklawn was the first woman over the finish line with a time of 17:28.
