Southold supermarket clerk charged in underage drinking sting by state police

An underage drinking enforcement sting conducted by N.Y. State Police in Southold Town yesterday resulted in one arrest.

Christopher J. Russ, 19, a cashier at the Southold IGA Supermarket was charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage, police said in a press release.

Village Liquor Store on Main Road in Southold;
Royal Mini Mart on Main Road in Southold;
Citgo Quick Mart on Main Road in Cutchogue;
Peconic Liquors on Main Road in Cutchogue;
Valero Food Mart on Main Road in Cutchogue;
7-11 on Main Road in Cutchogue;
Okan Grocery/BP on Main Road in Mattituck;
J; Shields Fine Wines & Spirits on Main Road in Mattituck;
Handy Pantry on Main Road in Mattituck;
La Tienda on Main Road in Mattituck.
