Police report arrests during DWI task force enforcement

Southold Town Police report two arrests made during an East End DWI Task Force holiday enforcement action.

Police said Pasquale P. Cutone, 56, of Mastic, was stopped by police Wednesday night at about 11 p.m. after he was observed failing to maintain his lane of travel on County Road 48 in Mattituck. He found to be intoxicated and also driving with a revoked license. He was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Richard Day, 26, of Southold, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Central Avenue in Greenport, police said.

Both men were transported to Southold Town Police headquarters and held for arraignment.
