Four to six inches of snow is expected across the region on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service, which has issued a winter weather advisory.
The winter weather advisory is in effect from 6 a.m. Saturday to 1 a.m. Sunday.
Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times, the weather service said. Travel will be hazardous.
