The Porters lost to Bayport-Blue Point in Greenport Saturday afternoon, 32-0.
The Phantoms’ offense, led by quarterback Brendan Bateman, overpowered the Porters. Bateman went 9 for 12, for 140 yards and three touchdown passes. He also ran 22 yards for a touchdown. Rob Romano added 6 with a 1-yard run in the fourth.
Greenport/Mattituck/Southold dropped to 1-2 on the season with the loss.
With a short week ahead due to the Yom Kippur holiday next weekend, the Porters travel to Southampton Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game against Southampton-Ross.
