A man was busted for stealing a bike this week in Greenport, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Gregory Vankesteren, 20, was arrested in Greenport on Thursday at 7:33 p.m. after he stole a bike from a Main Street location.
Police looked at surveillance camera recordings and were able to positively identify the suspect; he was located, arrested, and charged with a misdemeanor. He was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and held for arraignment, police said.
