Beer spillage was on the street at the scene of an accident between a Greenport Harbor Brewing Company truck and a car that took place Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. at the corner of Peconic Lane and Route 48 in Peconic.
Police said the driver of the car was heading east on Route 48, when it collided with the truck, which was making a turn. No serious injuries were reported, police said.
Southold Fire Department rescue responded to the scene, where officials mopped up the suds off the street.
No additional information was immediately available.
