North Fork Community Theater’s latest production takes the stage this week with the premier of First Date, a lighthearted musical comedy that captures all of the awkward, funny and touching moments of a budding relationship.
First Date tells the story of Aaron and Casey, two people meeting for the very first time during a date at a busy restaurant. Sam Notaro plays Aaron, a socially awkward man who has never been on a blind date who is nervous to meet Casey, a serial romancer played by Nicole Bianco who usually goes for the “bad boys.”
The show opens Oct. 13 and will run through Oct. 30, with performances on Thursday through Saturday each week at 8 p.m. and a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sundays. An opening night reception will be held before tomorrow night’s show at 7 p.m., with Sannino Bella Vita wines and snacks provided by the Village Cheese Shop.
Tickets are $25 and may be reserved by calling 631-298-NFCT (6328) or visiting the theater’s website. First Date contains adult language and content and is intended for mature audiences only.
