What will the affiliation between Eastern Long Island Hospital and Stony Brook University Hospital mean to you?
An open forum at 7 p.m. tonight will allow residents to get answers to their questions at Peconic Landing Community Center in Greenport.
Available to speak with residents tonight will be Reuven Pasternak, CEO of Stony Brook University Hospital, Paul Connor III, CEO of Eastern Long Island Hospital, and Thomas Murray Jr., chairman of the board of trustees at Eastern Long Island Hospital.
Topics will include long-term goals of the affiliation, bringing subspecialty care to the East End, technology and infrastructure.
