In a tight game, Southold overcame the Porters wit two goals in the second half.

Southold High School’s baseball season came to an end today at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, where the Settlers lost to North Salem 2-1.

Mattituck came up with a huge win over Babylon to claim the Suffolk County Class D girls lacrosse championship today at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

Mattituck defeated Center Moriches six to one today, clinching the Suffolk County Class B Championship title.

Southold came to play and they came with a vengeance. After losing game two 4-1, ending their unbeaten streak at 21, the Settlers were ready for the rubber match with Pierson today. They called on their ace Dylan Clausen and, after a rocky first inning that ended with a 3-2 Pierson lead, Clausen delivered, fanning nine batters in six innings to lead Southold to a 14-4 win and the county title.
