Baseball Playoffs: Southold claims county Class C crown
Southold came to play and they came with a vengeance. After losing game two 4-1, ending their unbeaten streak at 21, the Settlers were ready for the rubber match with Pierson today. They called on their ace Dylan Clausen and, after a rocky first inning that ended with a 3-2 Pierson lead, Clausen delivered, fanning nine batters in six innings to lead Southold to a 14-4 win and the county title.
